    Cargo Nets and Tie Downs

    Anything on an open deck needs restraint. A net stops items lifting out, a tie down stops them sliding, and most loads need both.

    • Cargo nets: cover mixed and light loads on a trolley, ute tray or truck bed.
    • Tie downs: lock heavy items to anchor points so they cannot slide forward under braking.
    • Anchor points: use rated points on the vehicle or trolley, not handles or bodywork.
    • Edge protection: stop straps cutting into cartons and spread the tension along the edge.
    • Re check after departure: loads settle, and tension that felt right at the dock loosens within minutes.

    Load heavy items low and forward, then restrain. Restraint compensates for movement, it does not fix a badly stacked load.
